Durham, North Carolina-based Food News Media, a b-to-b publisher serving the food and restaurant industry, has introduced Restaurant Management, a mobile magazine targeting full-service restaurateurs and executives.
RGMT uses a mobile Web site to serve up content to mobile devices from smartphones to tablets to laptops, regardless of platform. ‘It was designed with neutrality in mind, which is why you see no Flash—even in our ads,” says Food News Media editorial director Blair Chancey. “With mobile, we’re back writing in a confined space where words must have exact meanings to communicate messages quickly and on the go. Readers will be able to access the full magazine issue plus daily posts. In the future, there will also be additional tools on the app that will make sharing content easier.”
Food Service Media will promote RGMT by partnering with industry associations and events (the publisher is hosting a launch event at the 2011 National Restaurant Association Show).
RGMT will offer sponsorship opportunities for advertisers. “While we have not yet set rates, they are likely to range from $60 to $80 CPM depending on the creative format,” says Chancey.
