Due to the impending weather event expected in New York City over the next few days, FOLIO: magazine has made the decision to postpone our Eddie & Ozzie awards gala. Originally scheduled for this Thursday, the luncheon gala will now be taking place Tuesday, January 25 (same location and time).

Robert Ivy, editor-in-chief of Architectural Record, will join the American Institute of Architects as executive vice president and CEO, effective February 1. In 2009, Ivy won American Business Media's G.D. Crain award for editorial excellence in business media. McGraw-Hill is actively seeking a replacement.

Ron King takes over the new position of vice president, corporate sales for the Northwest region for Time Inc.'s corporate sales and marketing department. King had served as regional sales manager and then Northwest sales manager for Time Inc.'s Southern Living. Ebony named Darhil Crooks as creative director.
